A draft of a playdough Filling and Packaging production line. I was instructed to create this draft according to given specifications and requirements.
The Line starts with four playdough cups placed in their respective slots on a conveyer belt. Four extruders fill in each of the cups in two stages. Each of the extruders contain a different color of playdough. The advancing cups on the belt grab one of the suspended caps by their tip. The cap is then pressed in by an opposing belt above it. The cups then rotate to the bottom of the belt where they fall by effect of gravity. Each four cups rest at the end of the second belt before a suction machine attached to a piston pulls them up and puts them on top of their flat cardboard box which is then bent to shape by a series of guiding pipes. Before the last side is closed glue is sprayed onto one the bent side. The other side closes on top of the glue then the box passes through a series of rollers that apply pressure ensuring the box is sealed before being pushed onto a table by the final piston.
